Drinking Your Greens - More Than Just a Trend

Cleanse, Nourish, and Detoxify your system by drinking green juice every morning. I know a lot of you are probably already thinking - "That's so cliché" but speaking from personal experience I've found that not only is it so much easier to get your veggies and nutrients in, but the benefits are plenty!


All types of greens are glorious. Dark and leafy greens are essential for a healthy body and immune system. When you nourish yourself with greens, you may naturally crowd out foods that make you sick (processed chocolate and junk foods). Greens help strengthen the body and respiratory system. Leafy green vegetables are also high-alkaline foods, which is beneficial to people exposed to higher amounts of pollution in urban areas.


For me I've noticed improved skin, more energy throughout the day and less sugar cravings. Try it for a week and see how you feel. Below are a few recipes of some of my favourite daily green juices. I always like to include at least spinach or kale in each smoothie because spinach is one of the few vegetables high in iron and kale is full of calcium. I'd love to hear your feedback!
